Glenn R. Szabo

Glenn Richard Szabo Sr., 71, of Bethlehem died unexpectedly on June 29, 2019 at St. Lukes University Hospital-Fountain Hill. He was born February 20, 1948 in Bethlehem, son of the late Alfred and Elizabeth (Encarnation) Szabo. He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Michaela (Rodriguez) Szabo.

Glenn worked for MOPAC for many years and later took a position with Fluortek. He will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor, his enjoyment of watching his grandson play baseball, his fondness for oldies music and classic cars, and his loyalty to the Raiders.

Glenn loved his family very much and will be dearly missed by his family; wife, Michaela; children; Glenn R. Szabo Jr., Jonathan Szabo, Kristina M. Szabo, and Cody Szabo; grandson; Cameron C. Rodriguez; sisters; Yolanda Davis, and Priscilla Goosley; and former wife, Kathleen Szabo. He was preceded in death by his brother; David Encarnacion.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. with a ceremony to honor Glenns life to immediately follow at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to North Central Little League, PO Box 1543, Bethlehem, PA 18016, where Glenn spent countless hours watching baseball.
