Gloria A. Payonk

Gloria A. Payonk, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away on May 19, 2022 at St. Lukes Anderson Campus. Born on September 11, 1930, in Allentown, she was the daughter of Dorothy Rose.

Gloria graduated from Allentown High School and worked at Western Electric for most of her life. She enjoyed watching old black and white movies, her weekly dinning at Bethlehem Diner, taking trips to Tannersville Outlets with her husband and her son, Fred and in later years Gloria enjoyed her occasional visits to Prime Steakhouse.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Frederick (Suzanne) Payonk, Jr., of North Carolina; caregiver, Patricia Schuler, of Whitehall; brother-in-law, John Payonk, of Whitehall; sister-in-law, Carolin Hodle, of Surpise, AZ.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Frederick F. Payonk who passed in 2009.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 11. Entombment will follow in Bethlehem Memorial Park.
