Gloria Ann Augelli

Gloria Ann Augelli, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away on April 26, 2022, at Country Meadows.

Born on April 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Rafaella (Chiusano) and Francesco Montella.

Gloria was a faithful member of St. Annes Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She lived in Scranton until 1994, then moved, with her husband, to Bethlehem. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching baseball, and doing a variety of arts and crafts. She was devoted to her family; her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Linda (Robert) Augelli-Hodor and Corinne Augelli-Szafran; grandchildren, Sarah (Daniel) Hodor, Nathan (Ashley) Hodor, Holly, Amy, and Dylan Szafran; and great-grandchildren, Brynn Hodor, Rhys Hodor, and Jane McLaughlin.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Martin Joseph Augelli, who passed away in 2003; son: Albert Augelli; five brothers: Gabriel, Patrick, Alfonse, Carmen and Michael; and two sisters: Theresa and Rose.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 9-10:00 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18017, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00.

Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
