Gloria June Feist, 74, daughter of Joseph K. and Mildred Mitchell, went home to be with her Lord on September 27, 2015. A resident of Bethlehem for most of her life, she graduated from Liberty High School in 1959. While in Bethlehem she was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church and was active in the church choir. She was a wife, mother, homemaker, and served as an office manager for several small businesses in the Lehigh Valley. She was a devoted Catholic and loved Our Lord and the Blessed Mother. She made beautiful rosaries and skillfully crafted them for her family, friends, and countless others. Her rosaries have been shared by missionaries as far as Africa and have been a comfort to soldiers in the Middle East and veterans residing at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.
Gloria is survived by her loving husband Albert with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage on May 20th; her sister Carole Schweitzer; her brother Joseph Mitchell, husband of Brenda; her sister Susan Kish, wife of Robert; and her brother Robert Mitchell, husband of Barbara; her daughter Christina Heilmeier and her husband Robert of Waldorf, MD; son Jeffrey and his wife, Anne of Bethlehem, PA; and her son David and his wife, Yulanda of Finlayson, MN. She is also blessed with eleven grandchildren: Jose, husband of Carlie; Maria, wife of Dominic De Souza; and Robert Heilmeier Jr.; Jeffrey, husband of Vanessa Savoia, Taryn, and Michael Feist, husband of Lauren; Hope, Justin, Ryan, Craig, and Erin Feist; and three great-grandchildren, Mercedes De Souza, and Lincoln and Jackson Feist.
