Grace C. Tertusek

Grace C. Tertusek, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Charles A. “Pinky” Tertusek Sr.

Born on July 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Frieda M. (Koch) and Burton K. Miller.

Grace worked in the maintenance department at Lehigh University and later retired from there. She was a faithful member of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. A few of her many enjoyments, were cooking, baking, and she loved dark chocolate. Grace was a lifelong resident of South Bethlehem.

She spent her final days in the home of her beloved niece, Susan and her husband, Tom.

Grace will be remembered for her loving personality. She had an open-door policy with everyone she knew. Everyone that knew Grace, couldnt help but to feel welcomed when they were in her presence.

She will be dearly missed by her two children, David J. Tertusek and Cynthia L. and her husband, Jon Middleton; sister, Betty McAndrew; niece, Susan and her husband, Tom Racz; great nephew, Ricky and his wife, Glennie; two granddaughters, Shannon (Jeremy) Thigpen and Jenny (Rob) Bramlitt; and two great-grandchildren, Max and Logan.

In addition to her parents and husband, Grace is preceded in death by her son, Charles A. "Speedy" Tertusek; brother, William Miller; and daughter-in-law, Emily Tertusek.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh St., Allentown, PA 18103-4938.
