Grace Gonzalez

Grace Gonzalez, 86, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at her daughters home in Freeland, PA. She was born March 18, 1930 in Roseto; daughter of the late Donato and Grace (DeFranco) Ruggiero. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Gonzalez Sr. in 2001.

She was a parishioner of Holy Infancy Catholic Church. Grace enjoyed cooking, entertaining and spending time with her family.

Grace dedicated her life to her family and will be dearly missed by her children, Maria E. Badger and her husband, William T., Sr. of Freeland; Nancy E. Vogt and her husband, Michael of North Carolina; her three grandchildren, Grace Badger Truman; William T. Badger, Jr. and Elizabeth Vogt; her great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Marie Truman; sister, Lucy DiCampli and brother, Joseph Ruggiero. She was preceded in death by her son, Ernest J. Gonzalez, Jr.; sister, Mary Caiazzo and brother, Philip Ruggiero.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Friday at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
