Grace J. Bove-Parenti

Grace J. Parenti, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away Monday September 28, 2009, at Kirkland Village. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine Parenti Bove. She was the wife of the late Flory Parenti who passed away in 1989. They were married for 54 years.

Grace worked for the Northampton County Courthouse in the Criminal Division before retiring in 1979. She also worked for the Muriel Dress Co. on Linden Street in Bethlehem. She was a life long member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem where she was a member of the Sodality. Grace was a former Committee Woman for the Bethlehem 9th Ward-3rd District, and former President of the Jefferson Auxiliary Democratic Club. She enjoyed social gatherings with her family and friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her four sisters, Anna Nelson, Rose wife of Peter Facchiano, Margie Ortwein of Bethlehem, Jennie wife of Tyson Marz of Florida; brother, Eugene Bove of Bethlehem; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Bove and June Bove of Bethlehem, Dolly Lance of Holy Family Manor, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Anthony and Peter.

Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. where visitation will be held on Sunday October 4th from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday October 5th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, in the funeral home. An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave, Bethlehem, 18017. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
