H. Mary Latter

H. Mary Latter, 94, of Bethlehem, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. She was born in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late, Elmer and Hazel Wood. She was the devoted wife of Robert F. Latter who died in 1990. They were married over 40 years.

Mary dedicated her life to her family and her church. She was a member of the New Providence United Methodist Church in New Providence, NJ, where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She also played the piano and organ and was in the Bell Choir. She volunteered for the New Providence Rescue Squad and also gave piano lessons.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, David Latter and his wife, Pat of Bethlehem Twp.; her daughter, Sally Shults and husband, Thomas of Pennington, NJ; her sister, Joanne Wood of New Providence, NJ; and her two grandchildren, Scott and Daniel. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Tinsley.

Services: A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at New Providence United Methodist Church, 1441 Springfield Ave., New Providence, NJ 08974 at 11 AM.
