Harry C. Herman, 91, of Hellertown, passed away at home on March 7, 2018. He was the son of the late Charles and Elda (Deibert) Herman. He was the loving husband of Anna M. (Rasich) Herman.
Harry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army in WWII. He worked at the Bethlehem Steel Co. for 44 years as a crane operator and was a member of the steelworkers union. He was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Church and former member of St. Stanislaus Church. Harry was also a member of the MORA Club and Hellertown American Legion.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Anna M. Herman; daughter, Paulette Blanar (Francis); grandchildren, Matthew (Angelique) and Michael; brothers, Thomas (Althea) and Charles (Rosemary); brother in law, Walter Rasich (late Marie) and sisters in law, Mary Williams (late Arthur) and Mildred Rasich (late Michael). Harry was preceded in death by his sister in law, Katherine Yawney (Joe).
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 9-10:30a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am at Incarnation of Our Lord Church, 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
