Harry F. Becker

Harry F. Becker, 83, of Bethlehem, passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. He was born May 26, 1934 in Bethlehem; son of the late Harry and Margaret (Stern) Becker. Harry was the beloved husband of Jo-Ann (Dugan) Becker of Bethlehem for over 60 years.

Harry was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He had an outstanding work ethic as was displayed in his 36 years of service with the United States Postal Service. Harry was a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Harry enjoyed his flower garden, loved to play golf, and most especially enjoyed attending Ariels sporting events and amazing Shannons accomplishments.

Harry will be dearly missed by his wife, Jo-Ann; sisters, Joanne (and Phil); Peggy (and Bobby); Elizabeth Ianelli; and brothers, Frank (and Lorraine); and Joseph (and Audrey); niece, Susan; nephew, James; great niece, Shannon and great-great niece Ariel; and several other nieces and nephews. Harry will be forever remembered by Tony, Scott, Jimmy, Anet, Linda, John, Ann, Tim, and Joanie and their families.

The Connell Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Annes School, 375 Hickory St. Bethlehem, PA 18017 and/or St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
