Harry G. Zimmerman

Harry G. Zimmerman, 66, of Bethlehem died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late William and Matilda Gerber Zimmerman. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy Pavlinski Zimmerman.

Harry was employed by the Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years where he held various positions before retiring in 1998. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of St. Thomas United Church of Christ, Bethlehem and also a ham radio operator for many years.

He will be lovingly remembered by: wife, Dorothy of Bethlehem; son, David of Bethlehem; daughter, Kimberly Sheppard and husband Scott of Allentown; grandchildren, Faith and Christian Sheppard; brother, William of Philadelphia; and sister, Nancy Springer of Tamaqua; nieces, Beverly Zimmerman of Philadelphia and Angela Tite of Tamaqua; nephews, William Zimmerman, Jr. of Philadelphia and Joseph Tite of Tamaqua; mother-in-law, Dorothy Pavlinski of Bethlehem; brother-in-law, Michael Pavlinski of Bethlehem.
