Harry T. Eckert, 87, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Traditions of Hanover. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Harry L. and Helena (Kepfer) Eckert. Harry was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Tusak) Eckert; they were married for 38 years.

Before retirement Harry was employed by the Bethlehem Steel where he worked as a Tester in the Quality Control Lab for 33 years. A combat veteran of the Korean Conflict, Harry was a Radar Technician & Operator serving with the US Air Force from 1950 - 1954; he attained the rank of Sergeant. Harry was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Bethlehem Lodge 283.

He is survived by his step-son, David M. Moll and wife Carol of Neffs, PA; grandson, Marshall M. Moll, II and wife Shannon of Portland, OR; sister, Annabelle Mannion of Lecanto, FL; and will be missed by his many friends at Traditions, especially Mae Pursel.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service, all in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem with interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Allentown.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Pl #170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
