Heidi M. Hertzog

Heidi M. Hertzog, 60, of Bethlehem, died on October 2, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital.

She was born in Wolfsburg, Germany; the daughter of the late Adolf Ratz and Malinda Klatt Welch of Allentown.

Heidi most recently worked for Synthetic Thread. Previously she held positions with Zollinger Harned, Junior Colony A&B Meats and Heidi was also owner of Plan-A-Tan.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lisa M. Chiorra of Staten Island, NY and her brother, Francis Ratz and his wife Vicki L. of Schnecksville and her sisters, Alice Belcak and her husband George of Bethlehem; Erika Shoemaker and her husband David of Walnutport; Karen Case of Allentown and Sharon Wardenski of Allentown.

Heidi was also preceded in death by her siblings, Reinhard, Joachim, Gertraud and Peter.

She was a member of the Heights A.A., Bethlehem. Heidi enjoyed plants, bowling and cooking.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 10-12 noon at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem PA 18018 with a ceremony to celebrate Heidi's life to follow at 12 in the funeral home.

Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Allentown, PA
