Helen Ann Jaeger

Helen Ann Jaeger, 81, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Holy Family Manor. Born in Bethlehem on March 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Fenol) Greenstein. She was the loving wife of John L. Jaeger.

Helen was a 1955 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and before retiring was employed by the Bethlehem Steel. She also worked in the Martin Towers Cafeteria and Gift Shop. She was a devout Catholic and faithful parishioner of St. Annes Church, Bethlehem, where she was an Altar Server, Lecturer, Sodality member and personal cook to the priests. Helen was also a volunteer at St. Lukes Hospital.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John; daughter, Maria T. Jaeger; sons, J. Fitzgerald Jaeger and wife Serena, Sean C. Jaeger and wife Clovina and Scott T. Jaeger; and grandchildren, Christiano, Brittney, Blake and Belicia. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marcella Woodring.

Viewing hours will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem and on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. St. Annes Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem. A 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow with burial at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
