Helen B. Donaher

Helen B. Donaher, 94, of Bethlehem, died March 6, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Anna (Mindock) and John Pastir, Sr. Helen was the loving wife of the late Edward J. Donaher, Sr.

Helen graduated from Hellertown High School. She was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church and the PA Ladies Slovak Catholic Union Wreath 83. She retired from Durkees after 26 years.Helen enjoyed playing the piano and reading and was an avid sports fan. She especially loved being “Nana.”

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Edward, Jr. and his wife Lonna and Joseph and his wife Marie; brothers, Edward Pastir and Robert Pastir; sister Eleanor Stockman; grandchildren, Shawn (Molly), Colleen Myers (Eric), Erin Ford (Adam) and Patrick (Jodie); and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Pastir and Charles Pastir and sisters, Mary Kichline, Anna Vasko and Ethel Hrkach.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St, Bethlehem, PA 18018 and also on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18017.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Annes Church or St. Lukes Hospice, C/O Development, 801 Ostrum St, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
