Helen C. Groth

Helen C. Groth, 84, of Hellertown, died Friday, January 17, 2014 at Saucon Valley Manor. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Szvetecz) Csuk. She was the loving wife of Lloyd A. Groth who died in 2007.

Helen was a personal secretary to her husband at Penn Mutual Life Insurance. Prior to that, she worked at Lehigh University in the registrars office and also as a secretary in the local State Police Department. She was an avid gardener and loved to travel with her husband. Helen was a parishioner of St. Anne's Catholic Church

Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Julie Reightler and husband, William, of Catasauqua; and Elizabeth, wife of David Fernandes of New Jersey; and her brother, Joseph Csuk of Easton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Theresa Sattler, Mary Straka and Anna Nemeth; and her infant brother, Frank Csuk.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: the church or At Home Health Services and Hospice, 4030 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA 18045.
