Helen E. Bakos

Helen E. Bakos, 86, of Bethlehem Township, Miller Heights, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Born in Freemansburg on October 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Herceg Yurich. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William P. Bakos, Sr. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bill Sr.; son, Bill Jr.; daughter, Deborah Bakos; grandchildren, Joseph and Dana Stemrich, and William A. Bakos; and twin sister, Katherine Kuplen. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sweta Fritchman, Eva Danyi and Anna Drusba.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 25th in the Sacred Heart Church, 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Visitation will be held in the church on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Inurnment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorials may be made to the church.
