Helen E. Horvath

Helen E. Horvath, 89, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Holy Family Manor. She was born December 18, 1926 in West Virginia; daughter of the late John and Margaret (Dudash) Popovich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius S. Horvath. Helen dedicated her life to her family. She loved to cook and bake for others; especially during the holidays. Helen also worked in the Housekeeping Dept. of Muhlenberg Hospital.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Carol A. Schmitt and her husband, Chris of Pennsburg; and her sons, Julius J. Horvath and his wife, Annie of Easton and Robert G. Horvath and his wife, Susan of Bethlehem; her sister, Mary Casciani of Bethlehem; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by two sisters and a brother.

The family will receive guests at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
