Helen E. Lippey

Helen E. Gal Lippey, 87, of Nazareth, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Old Orchard Manor Care Health Services in Easton.

Born September 9, 1921 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Anna Szalay and George Gal. She was married to her late husband Kenneth E. Lippey.

Helen worked as a sorter at Baba and Gamet Manufacturers for 30 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the former St. John Capistrano Catholic Church in Bethlehem and more recently at Incarnation of Our Lord's Parish in Bethlehem.

Helen will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kay wife of Richard Kondash of Nazareth, grandsons, Kenneth Kondash and wife Sheri of Nazareth and John Kondash of Nazareth and great grandsons, Tyler and Cole Kondash.

She was preceded in death by her five sisters, Margaret Plefka, Mary Gal, Marie Gal, Anna Matus, Julia Gal and two brothers, George Gal and Joseph Gal.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem PA 18018 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation of Our Lord's Parish 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 at 11 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
