Helen H. Karp

Helen H. Karp, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away at home on Saturday, June 10, 2017. She was the daughter of Magdalena and Joseph Raczkowski. Helen was the loving wife of the late John Karp for 49 years.

Helen was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Bethlehem. She worked at Holtz and Co. as a floor supervisor for many years and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Helen was a loyal Phillies fan and enjoyed sewing. She above all loved being a grandmother and great grandmother.

She will be lovingly remembered by her grandsons, Brian Karp and his wife, Kate and Kevin Karp and his wife Michele; daughter in law Eloise Karp and great-grandchildren, Megan, Derek, Noah and Nora. Helen was preceded in death by her son, Jack Karp.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will also be held on Friday, June 16 from 9-10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jack and Eloise Karp Memorial Scholarship, 4456 Maria Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18020.
