Helen I. Dickey

Helen I. Dickey, 91, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, where she received excellent care. Born on November 15, 1925 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Rose (Torok) and Frank Koczan. She was married to George J. Dickey for 54 years until his death on August 18, 2000.

Helen worked as a machinist and inspector on the final table at the number 4 machine shop at HDM in Bethlehem. She was a member of the former St. John Capistrano Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Thomas Dickey of Bethlehem, daughter, Georgene wife of Arthur Gerlach of Bethlehem, granddaughter, Kristy wife of Kenny Wied of Bethlehem, grandsons, Scott Gerlach and wife Melissa of New Hampshire, Michael Dickey and wife Sherri of Bethlehem and Kyle Dickey and wife Kimberly of South Carolina, great grandsons, Brady and Tyler Wied and great granddaughter, Camryn Dickey. She was preceded in death by her son, James Dickey, granddaughter, Baby Gerlach, sisters, Irene Meszaros, Elsie Nemesh, and Gizella Koczan and brother, Anthony Koczan.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Helens name to the St. Lukes Hospice, 240 Union Station Plaza 1st Floor, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
