Helen Louise Brady

Helen Louise (Posh) Brady, 83, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, March 18, 2016. She would have celebrated her 84th birthday on March 20th. Helen was born in Bethlehem; the daughter of the late James and Mary (Drantz) Posh. She was one of eight children and they resided on Vernon St. in Bethlehem.

Helen attended Liberty High School and upon graduation went to work for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. After starting a family, she then worked at First Valley Bank for several years, and later worked for the City of Bethlehem where she worked in the water and building inspector departments. She retired in 2007 after 50 years in the workplace.

Helen will be lovingly remembered by her son, Michael J. Brady and his wife, Laurie Gneiding of Lebanon, NJ; her daughter, Karen Brady of Bethlehem; granddaughter, Kelsi Weber; brother, Ed Posh, and sisters, Mary Jane Pfeiffer and Alice Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her siblings, James Posh, Elizabeth Kilpatrick, Dorothy Posh, and Marian Ganssle.

Private services have been entrusted to the Connell Funeral Home and Burial services will be at Holy Savior Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Lukes Hospice Endowment Fund, c/o Development Office, 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem, PA 18015.
