Helen M. Beer

Helen M. Beer, 95, of Bethlehem, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem. Born September 18, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Anna (Rituper) and Mathias Macsek. She was married to the late Emil Beer who was killed in action during WWII.

Helen worked and retired from Champion Spark Plug in Hellertown. She was a member of St. John Windish Lutheran Church in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Thomas Beer, with whom she resided, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and John Macsek, sister, Mary Macsek and daughter in law, Nancy Beer.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at St. John Windish Lutheran Church 617 E. 4th St., Bethlehem, PA 18015 from 10-11 AM followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will be at Fountain Hill Cemetery. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Helens name to St. John Windish Lutheran Church.
