Helen M. Kuchar

Helen M. Kuchar, 94, of Bethlehem died on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at her daughter's home in Northampton.

She was born Christmas day 1915; the daughter of the late John and Helen Cikel Kovacs.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Albert Kuchar.

Earlier in life Helen worked at Lehigh Frock in Fountain Hill.

She dedicated her life to her family and will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Helen P. Sommers of Northampton and her fianc Larry Schaedel of Allentown, Roseann Bevan wife of John of Bethlehem; and her son Joseph J. Kuchar and his wife Kathy of Bangor; as well as her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Krasnai of Bethlehem and Elizabeth Toth of Bethlehem Twp. Helen will be missed by her devoted pet Peanut.

Helen was also predeceased by her sister Anna Holzinger, brothers Andrew and John Kovacs and her son-in-law, Edward Sommers.

Helen's family will receive friends on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 8-9:15 AM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 210 East Northampton St. Bath PA 18014.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
