Helen M. Szayko

Helen M. Szayko, 89, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Manor Care Health Services II in Bethlehem. Born October 29, 1917 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose Terplan Kozo.

She was the loving wife of the late John S. Szayko who died in 1980.

Helen was a member of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church of Bethlehem and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She worked for Just Born, Inc. but her true love, was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Helen will be lovingly remembered by her son, Michael Szayko & wife Roseann of Bethlehem, grandchildren, Michele Qureshey and Greg Szayko and two great-grandchildren, Philip Grim and Omar Qureshey. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Francis Kozo.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Friday, December 22, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. John Capistrano Catholic Church 910 East Fourth St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be held Friday, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
