Helen M. Zamadics

November 26, 1920 — December 12, 2014

Helen M. Zamadics, 94, of Bethlehem, died peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Holy Family Manor. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Baraniak) Zebrowski. She was the loving wife of the late Eugene J. Zamadics who died in 2009.

Helen worked in the garment industry for 50 years. She was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir, and was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Her life centered around the church and her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Barbara, wife of Steven Martin of Plainfield, NJ, and Jean, wife of Stanley Zweifel of Bethlehem; sister, Anna Kotlik of Bethlehem; granddaughters, Jennifer Snyder and husband Scott Lewis, and Amy Snyder and husband Ben Dobson; great grandchildren, Michael, Abigail, Rebecca and Sarah Dobson, and Reaghan Lewis. Barbara and Jean would like to thank Helens extended family for their love, compassion and support; the families of Debra Miller, Kathleen and Clayton Shaffer, and Karen and Michael Guman. Helen was predeceased by her brothers, Alexander and George.

Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Monday, December 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
