Helen P. Spevak

Helen P Lesko Spevak, 90, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, December 4, 2009 at Manor Care Health Services II in Bethlehem. She was born in Bethlehem and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Dancho Lesko and the wife of Joseph M. Spevak of Bethlehem with whom she celebrated their 70th anniversary this past July.

Helen was a graduate of Liberty High School. After high school she worked for the Motor Vehicle Department for the State of PA in Harrisburg as a secretary. She married her husband Joseph and then became a homemaker devoted to her family. She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord's Parish. Helen was an avid crafter she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and ceramics.

Helen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joseph M. Spevak of Bethlehem, sons, Joseph J. Spevak and his wife Lynda of Fleetwood, PA and Bruce L. Spevak of Allentown, two daughters, Regina A. Guman and her husband Patrick of Bethlehem and Mercedes Lambert and her husband Ronald of Bethlehem, Hanover Township, five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

She is predeceased by her parents, two sisters Bernadine Daday and Regina Geier, a son Dennis D. Spevak and a great grand son Mitchell Lambert.



Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial held at Incarnation of our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015 on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 10:00 AM
