Helen S. Rikli

Helen S. Rikli, 69, of Center Valley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 1, 2021, with her loving husband by her side.

Born on July 25, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Waino John and Helen Elizabeth (Mitchell) Stenroos.

A graduate of the Southern Lehigh High School Class of 1969, Helen went on to attend Shippensburg University. Helen enjoyed a thirty-six-year career with Highmark Blue Shield, retiring as a Business Analyst in 2013.

Outside of work, Helen loved spending time outdoors, especially gardening and tending to her flowerbeds. She was also an animal lover and rescuer. Above all, though, Helen loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister: Margaret A. Guttman.

Helen will be remembered by her husband, Gregory Rikli; three step-children: Tina Rikli of Ephrata, PA, Brian Rikli of Scranton, PA, and Heather Semmens (Chris) of Charlotte, NC; three brothers: John Stenroos (Bonnie) of Coopersburg, Joseph Stenroos of Santee, CA, and James Stenroos (Donna) of Coopersburg; three sisters: Elizabeth Wagner of Waverly, NY, Mary Smith (Joseph) of Ocala, FL, and Janet Wagner (John) of Quakertown, PA. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Friday, May 7, 2021, from 7:00-9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 8, at 9:00am.

Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
