Helen W. Butch

Helen Butch(nee Wingreen) 92, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at her home in Bethlehem, Pa., under the care of her daughter Gale. Helen is the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Merena Wengrin of Simpson, PA. Her husband Angelo Butch predeceased her in 2010. She was also predeceasd by her brother and two sisters.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Gale of Bethlehem, Pa, sons, Kenneth of Madison, Wi, and Robert and wife Valentina of West Orange, NJ. She will also be remembered by her grandsons, Paul and Wife Julianna and Nicholas and wife Elizabeth and their sons, Joey and Timmy.

Helen was active with the family in the South Plainfield, NJ community. She was a brownie leader and candy sales lady for the boys baseball teams in the town.

She was a gentle person who worked hard to please everyone. She always went out of her way to make sure everyone got what they needed and that she wasnt a burden to anyone.

When Helen moved to Bethlehem she happily joined the St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox church family. She was proud to be a perogie lady just like her mother had been in Simpson.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox 980 Bridle Path Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18017 at 10:30 AM.
