Helen Weaver

Helen Bowman Weaver, 78, of Bethlehem, PA, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem.

Born March 24, 1930 in Bowmanstown she was the daughter of the late Lottie Beers and Raymond Bowman. Helen was married to Norwood Weaver on May 9, 1947. They were married for 52 years until Norwood passed on October 5, 1999.

Helen worked as a garment worker at the former Pembrook Dress Company in Bethlehem where she retired from in 1985 after 30 years of service. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon.



She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Judy wife of Daniel Beachum of Bethlehem, Pa., Karen wife of Royce Lindley of Vale, N.C., Cheryl wife of Harold Hoch of Bethlehem, Pa., and Cindy Weaver of Hickory, N.C., sons; Barry Weaver and wife Teruko of Bethlehem, Pa. and Dennis Weaver and wife Carol of Cogan Station, Pa., brothers; Robert Bowman of Bowmanstown, Pa. and Paul Bowman of Simpsonville, S.C. She will also be remembered by her 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Bowman, Jr. and sister, Mildred Markley.
