Helyn A. Suhoza

Helyn A. Suhoza, 93, of Bethlehem, PA, died at Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth, PA. She was born in Leisenring, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Toth Vargo. She was the wife of the late Stephen P. Suhoza who died in 2009. Helyn and Steve met and married in Norwalk, CT and were married 66 years.

Before moving to Bethlehem in 1994 from Norwalk, Helyn was employed by Zotos International and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, both in Connecticut. She was also a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Bethlehem, PA.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lee-Ellan, wife of Edward Murray III of Lower Nazareth Township, PA.; granddaughter, Christine, wife of Michael Polansky of Center Valley, PA; grandson, Jonathan Murray, and his wife Dayna of Corte Madera, CA; three great-grandsons, Jackson Polansky, Rowan and Conor Murray; one great-granddaughter, Mia Polansky; sister, Mary A. Kapelewski of Stamford, CT and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Paul Vargo.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday, March 15th at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave. Norwalk, CT. Family visitation will take place at the church at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Mass offerings be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem PA, 18020 or St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
