Henrietta Pierson, 78, of Bethlehem, died Sunday April 26, 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. Born in Bethlehem on February 27, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred Pierson Koch. She was employed by the New York State Department of Transportation as a truck driver. She was an all star softball player for the Armorettes and a Lehigh Valley marble champion. She loved her bird Babe.

She will be lovingly remembered by her, sisters, Dorothy wife of Trottey Kostic, and Mary Jane Delong, brothers, Frank, Richard, Norman, Earl, Charles, David, and Edward Koch, nephew, Trottey Kostic Jr. and wife Donna, niece, Victoria wife of Barry Gaugler, and other nieces and nephews, son, Frankie, daughter, Sharon, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter who died at birth, and brothers, Donald, Billy, and Robert Koch.

Arrangements by Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. Graveside services to be held on Wednesday April 29th beginning 10 a.m. at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown, 85 Main St. Hellertown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
