Henrietta Stark

July 1, 1947 — June 12, 2009

Henrietta "Etta" I. Stark, 61, of Bethlehem died Friday June 12, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 1, 1947 in Bethlehem daughter of the late Henry and Anna Lipko Ortwein. She was the wife of Norman W. Stark. They celebrated 35 years of marriage on March 9 of this year.

Etta worked in the medical records department for the VNA of St. Luke's Hospital at the Hospice House and with Home Based Hospice for the past 8 years. She also worked for Durkee's Food for 25 years in the manufacturing department. Etta was a member of University Parish of the Holy Ghost Church in Bethlehem, Pa. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was also devoted to her career.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Norman, sons, Thomas Ridgick and wife Kimberly and Norman Stark Jr. both of Bethlehem, daughters, Mary Ann wife of Gregory Gruber of Palmerton, Teresa DeMasi and Vicki Bartholomew both of Bethlehem, sister, Mary Ellen Sajt of Bethlehem and grandchildren, Mark and Nicholas DeMasi, and James M. Deiter, and Jennifer Marks .

She was predeceased by her sister Renee Schuster

Services will be held 9:15AM Tuesday June 16, 2009 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10AM at the Church of the Assumption, B.V.M. 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike Bethlehem, Pa. 18015 Calling hours will be from 6:30PM-9PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial at Holy Saviour Cemetery
