Henry Hernandez

Enrique Henry Hernandez, 58, of Allentown, died on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at his home.

He was born in Corozal, Puerto Rico; the son of the late Isabel Hernandez Codero and Laureano Hernandez.

Henry was a decorated US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Henry worked for 12 years for Mack Trucks and later with Keenan House Treatment Trends.

He is survived by his family, sons, Michael of Indiana; Adrian of Allentown and Henry of Allentown; daughter, Naomi of Whitehall; sisters, Naomi Hernandez of Fountain Hill and Elizabeth Lozada of Bethlehem; brothers, Samuel of Bethlehem Benjamin of Orefield and three adopted brothers, Henry, Jose, and Sammy as well as four grandchildren, Daniel Kulik, Darian Negron and Henry Lee Hernandez, Jr. and Christian Michael Ortiz and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Daniel E. Hernandez and his brother Mike Hernandez.

Henry enjoyed playing the guitar, reading and cooking.

A viewing will be held on Monday, August 17, 2009 from 6-8PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.
