Herman G. "Copey" Cope

April 18, 1923 — December 7, 2006

Herman G. "Copey" Cope, 83, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, December 7, 2006 in Westminster Village. Born April 18, 1923 he was the son of the late Herman G. Cope and Martha Knutzen. He was married for 58 years to the late Mary Anne Loncaric Cope.

Herman worked for the Bethlehem Steel as a welder. He owned his own welding company, Cope?s Welding, for many years on Willow Park Rd. in Bethlehem. He served his country as a U.S. Seabee. He was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, and great- grandfather who always put his family first.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Jean Shipley of Bethlehem, granddaughters; Angela Link and Terilynn Isamoyer, grandsons; Anthony Shipley and Keith Reagen, great-grandson, Michael Shipley, great granddaughters; Megan Shipley, Jessica Isamoyer, and Erin Isamoyer.

Herman was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Knutzen, Step Father, LeRoy Knutzen, father, Herman Cope, wife, Mary Anne Cope, Brother, Vernon Cope, sister, Charlotte Blatnik, daughter Brenda Cox.

Services:

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday December 12th, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Calling hours will be from 10-11 AM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Westminster Village 803 N. Wahneta St., Allentown, PA 18109
