Hilda Johnson

Hilda Johnson, 86, of Allentown, died on Friday, December 20, 2013; she was the last surviving member of her family. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Perna) Barbush. She was the loving wife of Robert L. Johnson, Jr. who died in 2012; they were married 60 years.

Hilda dedicated her life to her family. She was a parishioner of Notre Dame Catholic Church of Bethlehem, a member of their Holy Name Society and card club.

Hilda will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robert L. Johnson, III and his wife, Emily, of Bath; and her three grandchildren, Rachel, Robert L. IV, and Brandon Johnson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn A. Johnson; seven sisters and one brother.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem. A viewing will be held in the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Allentown.
