Howard D. Haldaman

Howard D. "Bump" Haldaman, 83, of Bethlehem, died Monday June 15, 2009 at Manor Care, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem on December 19, 1925; he was the son of the late Howard and Ella Burkit Haldaman. He was the husband of the late Mary M. Whalen Haldaman, they were married for 57 years.

Howard was a truck driver and was employed with Maslin Trucking when he retired in 1983, prior to that he worked for Highway Trucking. He served his country in the Merchant Marines and in the Army during WWII.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, William Haldaman, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Florence Castner, and Catherine Reybitz.
