Hugo E. Del Salto was called home on August 7, 2021, with his family by his side.
Born in Ambato, Ecuador, he was the son of the late Luis Alberto and Luz Maria Del Salto.
Hugo came to the United States at the age of 19 and lived in the state of New Jersey for many years. He worked as an X-ray technician in St Mary's Hospital in Hoboken, NJ, for over 20 years before retiring. He later worked in transportation before moving to Pennsylvania to be with his daughter and grandchildren.
Hugo loved to spend time with his family and travel. His favorite pastime was watching soccer games, funny videos, and game shows. He was a jokester, at times stubborn but with a heart of GOLD! He loved deeply and maintained his sense of humor until the very end.
Hugo will be remembered as a brave and loving man. His departure has left a void in the heart of many but his bravery will live on forever! So, it is with heavy hearts we say goodbye; Daddy you will be forever missed and deeply loved!
Hugo is survived by his daughter Diana Del Salto of Bethlehem, PA; grandson Jaydon Geraldino; brother Guillermo and wife Beatriz Correa; niece and nephew Catalina and Freddy Del Salto of Quito, Ecuador.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased in death by his grandson, Brandon Geraldino.
