Irene A. Szvetecz

Irene A. Szvetecz, 86, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Holy Family Manor. She was born in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Hirczi) Donchetz. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Szvetecz who died in 2001. They were married for 52 years.

She worked as a supervisor for the August F. Nielson Co., retiring in 1957 and later as a cook for the Windish Hall. She was a member of the former St. John's Capistrano Catholic Church and a current member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Joan wife of, David Muth; granddaughter, Kelly Muth and fianc Travis Kowalewski; grandson, Ryan Muth; and twin sister, Margaret wife of, John Mingora. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Bukics, Anna Zamadics and Theresa Husovsky; and brother, William Donchetz.

A 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian will be celebrated on Tuesday April 24th at the Holy Family Manor Chapel. A viewing will be held in the Chapel one hour prior to Mass time. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
