Irene E. Schutz

Irene E. Schutz, 82, of Palmerton and formerly of Hellertown, died Monday November 13, 2006 at Palmerton Hospital. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Porubec.

Early in her life she devoted much of her time volunteering for St. Luke?s Hospital and the American Legion. She was also a former member of St. Theresa?s Catholic Church of Hellertown.

Survivors: sons, Charles, Richard, Rudolph and, Frederick; daughter, Mary. She was preceded in death by: brothers, John, Jacob and, Stephen; sisters, Anna Czik and Agnes Weaver.

Services: 10 a.m. graveside service on Friday November 17th at SS Cyril and Methodius Cemetery, Williams St, Bethlehem 18015. Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

Contributions: Perpetual Care Fund of SS Cyril and Methodius Cemetery and sent to the church, 617 Pierce St, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
