Irene J Donchez

Irene J. Donchez, 92 of Bethlehem died Saturday morning in St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness.

She was the wife of the late City Detective John J. Donchez who died in 1968

Born in Bethlehem she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Domiter) Mayer

Irene had been a life time member of the former St. John Capistrano Catholic Church and is currently a member of Incarnation of our Lord Catholic Church in South Bethlehem.

After attending Bethlehem schools she worked at the former Laros Silk Mill and Baba Mills both in Bethlehem.

She will be dearly missed by her sons: Robert and his wife Jayne and Ronald and his wife Lisa both of Bethlehem in addition to her five grandchildren: Robert, Kristen, Gabrielle, John and David

She was preceded in death by her sisters: Anna Mayer and Margaret Nest and her brother Charles Mayer.

The Connell Funeral Home in Bethlehem has been entrusted with the arrangements where Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Memorials may be made in Irene's name to Incarnation of Lord Church 917 Pierce St. Bethlehem, Pa.
