Irene T. Igusky

Irene T. Igusky, 96, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Helen (Grodzki) and Thomas Dlugoborski. She was married to the late Frank E. Igusky for 48 years before his passing in 1991.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and former member of St. Stanislaus, where she was a member of the choir. Irene was an avid reader of mystery and enjoyed mini golf, hiking at Jacobsburg Park and praying the rosary 3 times a day. Family was most important to Irene and she especially loved being a grandmother.

Irene will be lovingly remembered by her children Marie Igusky and Bernard Igusky and his wife Katherine and 2 grandchildren, Kristin Igusky and Nicholas Igusky.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 10:30-11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Carmelite Monastary, 3551 Lanark Rd. Coopersburg, PA 18036 or to the Bernadine Franciscan Sisters, 450 St. Bernadine St. Reading, PA 19607.
