Irene U. Garcsar

Irene Garcsar, 84, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Hospice House of St. Luke's.

She was born May 14, 1927 in Allentown; daughter of the late, Anton and Julia Blaukowitsch Unger.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband Gus J. Garcsar, Sr.

Earlier, Irene worked for the Credit Bureau of Allentown and R.L. Polk's city directory.

Irene was a parishioner of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Michael J. Reinhart and wife, Gretchen, of Quakertown; grandchildren, Erin, Shea and Tia Reinhart; stepson, Gus J. Garcsar, Jr. and family of Bethlehem; her brother, Frank Unger and his wife, Betty, of Allentown; friend and niece, Scarlet Randolph of Allentown.

Irene was predeceased by her sisters, Julia Kleintop, Rose Decker, Emma Mohr and a brother, William Unger.

Irene's favorite activities included: reading, crosswords, traveling and spending time with friends and family. She will be dearly missed by her special friends at the Moravian House where she resided over the past 18 years.

A visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 9-11 AM with a funeral service to immediately follow in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
