Isabella M. Zavar

Isabella M. Zavar, 88, died Monday, November 24, 2014, one year to the day that her late husband of 63 years, Joseph E. Zavar, passed. She was born in Bethlehem on December 20, 1925; son of the late Louis Bambu, Sr. and Margaret (Kiss) Bambu.

Isabella worked as a cashier at Bethlehem Catholic High School for 19 years. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Isabella will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer J. Zavar of Easton; son, Jeffrey J. Zavar and his wife, Barbara of Hellertown and her brother, Louis Bambu Jr. of Davenport, FL.

A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 immediately followed by a service at 10 AM. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Isabellas name to the Alzheimers Association 617 A, Main St., Hellertown, PA 18055.
