Isaura P. DeCeia, 87, of Bethlehem, died peacefully, on Monday, November 30, 2015. Born in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Isauro and Orentina Ferreira. She was the wife of the late Romoaldo J.P. DeCeia; they were married 56 years. Isaura was employed by Champion Spark Plug as a machine operator for 30 years. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church and a life-time member of the Portuguese American Club and of their womens auxiliary.
She is survived by her sons, Manuel (Mary) and John (Jo Ann); daughter, Deolinda Emery (George); sister, Alice Branco; granddaughters, Casey (Beau), Christine Slifer (Kevin), Olinda Renauld (Pete), KeriAnn Heckman and Jessie Cocco; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Viewing hours will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. An 11 a.m. funeral service will follow on Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
