Ismael “Junior” Torres, Jr., 60, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at his residence. He was the husband of Sherry L. (Heck) Torres whom he married on October 10, 2020.
Junior was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on September 28,1962, to Nemsia Ramirez of Bethlehem and the late Ismael Torres, Sr.
He worked as a Bus Driver for Lanta, Easton for 23 years until his illness.
Survivors: in addition to his mother, Nemsia and wife, Sherry; children: Ruben Colon of Bethlehem, Casandra (Chris) Martinez of Allentown, Jasmine M. Torres of Allentown; stepchildren: Marissa Torres of Allentown, Brianna Torres of Bethlehem, Cassandra Torres of Bethlehem; siblings: Edward (Shelia) Torres of Allentown, William (Diana) Torres of Bethlehem, Wilson Torres of Bethlehem, Robert (Sonia) Torres of Bethlehem, Elizabeth Oritz of Allentown; 10 grandchildren.
Predeceased in death by brother: Wilfredo Torres.
Service: A viewing will be held 5-8pm Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem. Online condolences may be offered at connellfuneral.com.
