Isolina Serrano

March 4, 1927 — March 20, 2010

Isolina Serrano, 83, of Bethlehem Township, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Moravian Village in Bethlehem. She was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Martina Hermina and Nicholas Nieves. She was married to the late Manuel Serrano.

Isolina dedicated her life to her family and her religion. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem and its Ladies Sacred Heart Society and the Cursillo Movement.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Carmen Wife of Nelson Matos of East Allen Township and Elsie wife of Reuben Berrios of Bethlehem, sons, Heriberto "Eddie" Serrano and wife Gladys of Bethlehem Township and Manuel Serrano and wife Trudy Reed of Texas, sister LuzMaria Nieves of Puerto Rico, grandchildren, Anita Carlisle, Nelson "Chuck" Matos, Christopher Matos, Erik Serrano, Andrew Serrano, Jessica Morales, three great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Victor Morales, one brother and two sisters.

Services

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 7-9 PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A calling period will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 8:30-9:30 AM in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. Fourth St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made in Isolina's name to the church.
