Jagdish H. Rawal, 84, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Bhartibala J. (Joshi) Rawal. Jagdish was born in Mombasa, Kenya in 1940 to the late Harishankar and Pranakuvar (Mehta) Rawal. He was known for his boundless love for family and friends, naturally generous spirit, joyfulness, readiness to help others, and an unwavering work ethic. His zest for life brought many people together over the years and created wonderful memories that we will always cherish. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and friends. A 42-year resident of Bethlehem, locals may remember him as the owner and operator of the former House of Pizza in the 1980s.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 62 years; son, Parag J. Rawal of Woodbridge, VA, daughter, Vandana (Kandarp) Vyas of Belle Mead, NJ; sister, Surya R. Bhatt of Cary, NC; brother, Harish (Meera) Rawal of Mombasa, Kenya; grandchildren, Chandni and Himali Vyas. He was predeceased by sisters, Mangala H. Dave, Manharbala N. Bhatt, Manjula D. Joshi, Neela K. Bhatt, Ella V. Dave, and brothers, Vasantrai H. Rawal, Mulwant H. Rawal, and Deviprasad H. Rawal.
Service: Family and friends are invited to a gathering on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 1:00PM followed by a service at 2:00PM at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
