James B. Bunsa

James B. Bunsa, 71, of Bethlehem, died Friday, April 25, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Born on October 28, 1936 in Hazleton, Pa, he was the son of the late Bernard E. and Agnes A. Gregor Bunsa. He was the loving husband of the late Lorraine M. Halleman Bunsa, who died in 2007.

James was employed as a meatcutter for 43 years, working at Food Fair, Pantry Pride and Laneco. He also worked part time as a tow truck operator. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman 1st Class in the aftermath of the Korean War from 1954 - 1957. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by: son, Gary J. Bunsa of Bethlehem; daughter, Karen Lee Smith and her husband Michael of Easton; sister, Elizabeth Weaver; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Donchez.
