James Bellew

James Bellew, 87, of Easton, PA died on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Old Orchard Manor Care. He was born in Hoboken, NJ, the son of the late Nora(Sullivan) and Christopher Bellew. He was the loving husband to

Florence (Thall) Bellew for the past 64 years.

James was the Principal at St. Michaels Girls Regional High School in Union City, NJ. He was a member of the Denville VFW and Senior Citizens group. He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Marines in the Pacific Theatre.

James will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Florence, his daughter, Jamie, wife of Harry Reese of Bethlehem, sister, Mildred Scott of NJ, and granddaughters, Meghan Reese, wife of Matthew Boyce, and Lauren Reese. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Eileen Terese and his son, Brian.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020. Connell Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
